Linda Beilharz is the first Australian woman to ski from the edge of Antarctica to the South Pole. She is a pilot and Bendigo Flying Club member. Her next challenge is off to Patagonia and then the North Pole Expedition a journey to be undertaken by a small team of 3 or 4 people in 2010. The journey will be a hazardous one - negotiating extreme cold and polar bears. |
