Jarmon Blow is congratulated by Colin Douglas and Colin Hokin. Job well done, for his 1st. Solo flight on his 15th. Birthday, Sept. 1st. 2009, the clubs youngest student to fly an aircraft as pilot in command.

Norm Brown, is congratulated by Colin Hokin for his achievement of 1st. Solo flight as pilot in command 5th. Sept. 2009 and as you can see Norm is possibly 15.....years OLD er!! than Jarmon give or take a few. I am sure they both felt the same as they took control of the aircraft, and this feeling will stay with them forever.

TIM SAYLE ALSO ACHIEVED THE SAME FEAT THIS MONTH MORE ABOUT THAT SOON WHEN I AM ABLE TO ACCESS SOME PHOTOS. YOU TOO CAN ACHIEVE THIS MILESTONE IN YOUR LIFE JUST VISIT THE BENDIGO FLYING CLUB......AND DO IT.

3 New Members: Wally & Emma from Melbourne, Wally has flown gliders and helicopters. Emma is a glider pilot. Doug is an RAA pilot, they are happy. 

Come and meet all these happy people at the Family/Comps day 1st. Sunday of every month. Bendigo Flying Club is about pilots having FUN!!

Small aircraft draw a lot of interest, and as you will notice they can be flown by large pilots & small. Wayne and George discuss the twin tail boom.

Seafood BBQ, Fri 9th. Jan. 2009. there was a small gathering of 25 club members and friends of Chas & Lucy to give them a send off back to the UK.

 Keith "Chas" as we all know him completed his RAA unrestricted flying license in less than a month from the time he arrived in Bendigo from the UK.

On the night he was presented with his Wings and a Certificate for his outstanding achievement. Our first overseas student, start to finish in only 35hrs. 

Lucy was not forgotten as she received a presentation of flowers for supporting Chas in his quest to complete his goal, they both enjoy the love of flight.
