PILOTS & MEMBER INDEMNITY TO THE BENDIGO FLYING CLUB

  As a member of the Bendigo Flying Club, I hereby agree that before flying in command of any Bendigo Flying Club owned or X-hired aircraft I will ensure that I am current on type, a full financial member of the club and hold a current BFR. as well as a current aviation medical, and are a current member of the RAA, as required to fly RAA registered aircraft. I also agree to make myself acquainted with the Memorandum & Articles of Association, and any other Club By-laws and Regulations. I further agree to observe, perform and be governed by the same, amendments thereof or additions thereto which may be here-in after made.

I also hereby exonerate and agree to indemnify the Bendigo Flying Club and/or its associated legal entities, its members, their agents and their servants from and against all liabilities for any damage or injury sustained by me in the course of or in connection with any flight in any aircraft owned or controlled by the Club, or for any damage or injury sustained by any person other than a member of the club, carried in any aircraft hired by me from the Club, in the course of or in connection with any flight in such aircraft.

NOTICE THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.

This document listed below is an integral part of the Clubs Corporate Structure.

All Members should be aware of the contents of this document as it lays out the procedures of operation and rules for all club members.

Every member of the Executive & Committee have a copy and there is a copy at the club.

If you would like to read this document come to the club and read it or borrow a copy from a committee member.

Don't forget to give it back to the person you borrowed it from so others may use it.

The club copy is not to leave the building, read it in the comfort of the club lounge.

This document is very old and it is up for review by the Committee, as some of the structure needs bringing into the 21st. Century to accommodate  the changes in technology and the changing structure of the club. 

All members will receive a report later in the year on the outcome of the review.
